Engineer

Description
The Engineer performs all office and field related survey assignments as defined by the Project Manager or Operations Manager, a/o:
• Execute tasks related to positioning and navigation projects according to operations instructions.
• Mobilization and installation of equipment onboard vessels and rigs.
• Interfacing and troubleshooting of positioning and survey equipment.
• Execute repairs, maintenance and testing of equipment.
• Ensure all safety standards are met and followed.
• Assist and if applicable compile survey reports in given company format.

Requirements
The candidate we have in mind is flexible, stress resistant, has an accurate work practice and a hands-on mentality.
• B.Sc. or Diploma electronics engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 1 year related experience in a marine environment.
• Preferably experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
• English language, both written and spoken.
• Good computer skills.
• Be a team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work and travel offshore locally and internationally.
• European residency.
