Well Chicago is a great and outstanding mix of all cultures.
You look left, you have brazilian cuisine, you look right you have indian ore african. You've got polish district, italian, german, mexican, china, afroamericans, irish, and a few more propably. You go to downtown and can meet people from around the globe. Tons of best clubs in the world, pubs, theatres, museums, long and quite cool beach, United Center - which means you can watch and cheer for Chicago Bulls or Chicago BlackHawks but also football team Chicago Fire, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs in baseball, Chicago Bears in NFL and Chicago Rush in AFL. Simply you cant get bored. Every effin day there's a big concert, club event or any other big happening. If you are interested ther's also a Gay Pride in Chicago.
I remember when I was once at the party at my friends place. He studies at the ICU (Illinois Chicago University - correct me if I'm wrong, I may not remember it correctly) and what I can say is I was astonished. Great music, great people, incredible vibe. There were like 50 people and everybody was from another country!! There were asians from Japan, India, China, Korea, Pakistan and a few more, Africans, ppl from Antipodes. Just great. I also went once to watch a football (soccer in USA) game France vs. Spain t othe Irish pub. Everybody was cheering for their own team. Me with my brother (both Polish) were cheering for Spain with some ppl from Argentina, Brazil and Marocco, and at the other side of that Pub were ppl from France, Belgium and a few other countries cheering for France. At the end of the game we all started to drink together and chat. Thats what I love in this city.
What is more i remember having a hard time to fall asleep a few times. What I did back then was get a subway and drive at downtown. What for? To go to a jazz club. They're open 24/7. Chillout mate, just pure chillout; -) -

And the nightlife...
You simply have to feel that by yourself to know better what I'm talking about.
For instance. I once was a this punk concert (don;t like that music by went there anyways). It was Angels and Airwaves (ex Blink 182). The concert was taking place near the lake at the beach. It was hot and dark.
I was listning to this musing sipping my beer and admiring the view. The whole downtown lighted up, the smell of the summer breeze...
Dude, you have to go there. Seriously. At the summer time, there are some events like I said. I.E Carl Cox playing at the beach while you can plat beachball with your mates.
And about the job. It's not a myth. It's just waiting for you. It's so effin easy to get a well payed job in there that its just laughable.
And living in there is so cheap...For a 1,000$ per month you can afford rent and all the credits you have taken. And 1,000$ is what you make per week, so the rest what you earn is just for you. -

OMFG I've never made so many mistakes and misspells in my entire life; -) Was a bit in hurry. Sorry; -)
* For a 1,000$ you pay not only for a rent or mortgage but also for a car and all the other payments like credit for a computer, home cinemar whatsoever. -

Do U know anything about Work in Hospital Bcs I'm a Nurse and I Want 2 work in Hospital or Nursing Home whatever ,do u know if there is no problem 2 find job in place like that. However do u know maybe how much Nurses in USA they geting per hour?
Thanks. -
Соларис
Unfort. no, I dont know any of those details you asked for.
There might be a problem to work legally as a nurse if you don't have Social Security number. If you do, there's no problem. And about any facilities you should just google them and get some info or send a few e-mails to hospitals or so. -
