Yeah..that is true.You die and after that have a fanstastic life...(provided that you r good, alright?; P)...but life would be difficult for me without faith...without God.A human need to know what will happen to him after death...faith is something that gives me this trength and optimism. And God is a friend for me...Maybe You can tel that I ma mad or soemthing..Todays little ppl think like that, at least among my friends...They believe bacause their parents belive..So stupid! I try to find out this all what I believe in. And That is fantastic. For exaple, let;s look on ancient romes. At first they believed in many gods..and when they knew about one, fanstastic God, who is the best and one..they started to believe in Him. They needed someone to be an ideal for them..to be..example to forward after.
And one thing more. One writer..Kohelet said sth liek that: "Vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas"..Yeah wisdom, fame, money..and other values like that aren't worth anything..They will pass off and the end..And what would have been, if I hadn't believed in my fantastic God? I will lose this all but my life will be endless. I will live forever but somewher far away form here..somewhere..where life is unsual..spotless and full of love, no evil..That is all..I can talk and talk aboit subjects like that :PP -

Of course I belive in God. 95% Polish people belive in God. Unfortunately it's only statistic.Many of us are catholic intheory.In practic ther don't go to church, don' pray and don't respect the Ten Commandments.
As far as my faith is concerned I belive in God so much. I always try to be a good human and respect the Ten Commandments. A don't say that I'm always saint girl, but I try. I always go to church on Sundays, and I can't imagine live without God ! -

my parents taught me to believe in God, but it was something empty.
Since i really discovered God in my life, I am less "crazy" (i don't really know why, maybe it is just such a period in my life and it's not connected with my faith; p but i feel peace inside of me) but I'm really happier. I still feel not as good as I think I should be, but i try and i will try again and again :)

I do believe in God. And sometimes i wonder about the people who don't. What in their opinion will be after death? Just nothing? Emptiness? It's sad and scary. I'm very thankful, that i have the gift of faith, but i know sometimes it's hard to believe. I had one of those moments in my life. -

What will be after death is a source of hope in Christian faith. But I think it's a big mistake to think that we believe because of the eternal life. I believe it too, but not a life after death is an essence of God's faith. The eternal life (in heaven) is a kind of award for us, but maybe we won't gain it just because we'll try to. And every other religion has in its doctrine life after death. So it's certainly not the clue. -

or any other imaginary friends or places that you have been told about. Don't accept everything you've been told at face value.

Or rather, which one was chosen for you? You certainly don't believe in, let say, Zeus, do U? Why not? cuz you probably think

you chose the right one? What about Jahwe and Allah, to name just the two? Do you believe in those as well, probably not.
Why?! Why does every religious person in this world think that the god he happens to believe in is in fact the one which actually exists
and other gods are just made-up characters?! I did believe in god, cuz I was being indoctrinated. However, I reached a certain age
when I started to ask myself questions about god and religion and I realized that, to cut a long story short, religion is nothing but bullshit - it simply doesn't hold water.

You probably know some of them.You may say that this video is biased cuz it shows just one side of the coin. Well, I agree.
Catholics I know just don't want to get to know this other side cuz they're are afraid that familiarizing with the facts will in fact make them doubt and will undermine their faith.
It is not my intention to turn you to atheism. I would like people of faith to seriously and critically think about what they actually believe in;
to look at their faith from a different, alternative perspective and not be afraid to ask themselves questions. -

Wow Mr. Spleen I can see that you like an atheistic crusader on a holly quest to destroy church and faith. I don't believe in the idea of god, any god, but many people need it because the can't make their life meaningful enough without it, and you should respect that. Nevertheless I must agree with you entirely. What bothers me in most religions is the fact, that even if you're a good person but you don't believe in god you won't be in haven after you die. That is just ridiculous. -

Believing in God doesn't mean that you're a catholic and you go to church........o.O
Eg. There are so called free christians and they know the Bible far more better than an average catholic. So, be aware....
