A Storm of Light is a recently formed post-metal band from New York City. The band is the brainchild of Josh Graham of Neurosis (but also Battle of Mice and Blood and Time), who decided to give birth to a new musical project after leaving the post-rock outfit Red Sparowes, which he helped found as a side project. Graham decided it was time for him to move on with something darker and heavier, in the vein of his main band, Neurosis, so he departed Red Sparowes as they were composing their third album. He immediately hooked up with Unsane drummer Vinnie Signorelli, ex-Tombs and Asea bassist Domenic Seita, and Pete Angevine of Satanized on additional percussions, to form A Storm of Light. Josh Graham will also handle all guitar and vocal parts for the band. Their debut album "And We Wept the Black Ocean Within" is scheduled for a May 19th release in Europe and a June 2nd release in America through Neurot Recordings. The band has also already been into touring mode since spring opening shows for Neurosis, Converge and Mastodon

No grali przed Neurosis, ale jakoś tak...sam nie wiem, nie porwali mnie:)
Płyty nie słyszałem...nie wiedziałem, że ktoś ze Swans się tam udziela...
